TIP 1

THE MISSION MAP

To quickly find photographs made at each station, pay a visit to the Project’s hub, The Mission Map.

You’ll find interactive links to all the photographs made so far.

Look for the blue tags:

For example, want to know if I’ve visited West Mersea Lifeboat Station?

  1. Locate West Mersea on the map or type it into the search box
  2. Click on the blue tag
  3. You’ll find thumbnails of all the photographs made at the station (pictured below)
  4. Click on a thumbnail to be taken directly to the correct page to purchase a print

TIP 2

BROWSE THE GALLERIES

The number of photographs available from this site is growing rapidly.

Rather than browsing region-by-region through the Limited Edition Print pages, pay a visit to the Galleries first, where you’ll find all the work neatly collated:

TIP 3

EDITION NUMBERS

Prints are limited editions of 50, which means that I will never make more than 50 prints of each photograph.

Generally speaking, the prints are available to buy from numbers 2 through to 50.

However, most RNLI Boathouse Views are available from print numbers 1 through to 50.

Single digit edition numbers 1 to 9 are usually considered to be the most desirable, so ordering or early is a great way to secure a low edition number.

If you’d like a particular edition number, let me know when you order and I’ll honour your request where possible.

For example, house numbers and lifeboat numbers are often a popular choice.

In 2015, Teddington lifeboat station started a trend by ordering edition prints that matched their crew numbers, an idea that has carried on around the coastline ever since!

TIP 4

SPREAD THE COST

TIP 5

ALLOW TIME

As well as the original glass plates, I personally make every single limited edition print.

Each one is signed, numbered and embossed — a truly unique, collectable and luxurious item to treasure for years to come.

With that in mind, it’s important to allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of your print(s), particularly if I happen to be on the road photographing lifeboat stations when you order.

So, if it’s getting near to Christmas, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day or a special birthday, be sure to allow plenty of time — 14th December is the cut-off date for ordering in time for Christmas!

TIP 6

SAVE MONEY WITH ANY THREE PRINTS

On every page, you’ll see there’s an opportunity to save £30 per print by committing to purchase any three Project prints — that’s a £90 saving in one purchase!

These can be existing images or ones that have yet to be made.

If there’s a lifeboat station or location that particularly strikes a chord, this is both a great way to secure an early edition number for yourself and to support the project.

Also, feel free to club together with others to place an order of three prints, saving £30 on the individual price.

You’ll find the buttons on every page to buy or pre-order a Collection of Three Prints but the bottom of this page is perhaps the easiest place to begin:
