WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Like a needle and thread around the coast of the UK and Republic of Ireland, The Lifeboat Station Project is an unprecedented mission to capture the spirit behind a vital piece of our unique island life — the RNLI community.

The photographs and sound recordings will ultimately be showcased in a stunning exhibition and book, both of which are set to be huge fundraisers for the RNLI.

The book and show can only be made once I’ve completed the work — in the meantime, I need help from people like you.

WHO’S BACKING THE PROJECT AT THE MOMENT?

For the first two years of its life, I entirely self-funded the Project with money raised through the The LSP Shop — in essence, my own form of crowdfunding.

Since Autumn 2016, I’ve been fortunate enough to receive a small amount of funding from the RNLI, which covers around half the costs of making the work.

The funding goes some way to smoothing out the (sometimes terrifying) financial peaks and troughs. So, I still rely on the support of the amazing people who love following the journey and appreciate what it takes to keep it on the road.

On 9th November 2017, I launched a band new way for fans and followers to support my work:
