What’s the easiest way to find the Members’ Area?
In the top right hand corner of every page on my website, there’s a white menu button.
Click on the icon and you’ll spot a brand new section for The LSP Society and that’s the best way to quickly access these pages.
I’ve migrated from Patreon — will my original Tiers and rewards still be honoured?
They certainly will! I have a record of everyone’s pledges and The LSP Society should be considered as a continuation from Patreon.
When will my monthly payment be processed?
Your payments will be processed on the same day of the month as the date you joined and made your first payment.
For example, if you joined on 20th your payments will be processed on 20th of every month.
Can I add a profile photo to my account?
I’m pleased to report that, as of 10th April 2021, you can now add a profile photograph via your new and improved account page under Profile > Profile Photo.
Is there a way for members to connect with each other?
As of 10th April 2021, there is indeed!
The Boathouse is now up and running — the brand new independent social platform for members of The LSP Society.
It currently works best on a laptop/desktop but, as of 16th June 2021, the app is free to download too!
You’ll find that you can choose to be ‘connected to’ and ‘follow’ other members of The LSP Society, and those posts will appear on your personal Timeline within your new and improved Profile/Account page (or you can always come to this page to see all the latest activity).
Furthermore, you can now add a profile photo and send each other direct messages, just as you can on other platforms.
Basically, have an explore and if you run into any problems, PLEASE let me know.
Has Covid-19 delayed the project?
Yes, it certainly has! Click here for the public post I wrote at the time.
You can now also find the video I originally posted from Dart (my 150th station) on the Films page in the Members’ Area.
My last station visit was Dart on 15th March, so if I can pick things up again in the spring of 2021, that’ll be a delay of one year.
However, that could work out neatly because it means I would likely finish in 2024, the RNLI’s 200th anniversary!
Can I amend my pledge?
I appreciate that members’ financial circumstances can change, so you can increase, decrease or delete your pledge at any time via your account page.
Can I pause my pledge?
Absolutely, you can pause your pledge for a while if you need to.
Head to your account page to make any changes.
When you’re ready to resume your membership, simply log back into your account and set your payments in motion.
