It’s not every day one gets to have a personal tour of a state-of-the-art lifeboat. It’s even more rare that it’s with the current Coxswain and a retired Coxswain from a very different era…

…a tour recorded for posterity too!

I felt very lucky to have those moments at Hoylake with Howie Owen and Davy Dodd. You might remember Davy also featured in the conversation we recorded on Hilbre Island.
